Our mom, Lurlan, was a resident at Crystal Creek for almost ten years.  We visited her many times a week and she was always well cared for and content. The staff was exceptional and really became part of our family.  When observing them with our mom, as well as the other residents, we saw the compassion and tender care they provided. The meals were delicious and well balanced, and the recreational activities were great!

“Upon our first visit to Crystal Creek, we found a reliable friendly staff and residents, clean environment, and a safe place. We found out that they could fulfill our mothers’ needs and concerns for the years to come. Over the years, these are the services that made our choice a good one.

Our mother could be as active as she wanted. Activity Director had a variety of hands-on activities, games and was given the chance to hold a handheld computer table and an I-phone to watch the weather report. She talked about the experience for a long time. Crystal Creek had people come in to play music and sing. Families were encouraged to visit at any time. Special days were set aside to have family and friends come in to join in on holidays. Different groups came to visit which was very much appreciated. Spiritual services were offered every Sunday.

As weather permitted our mother could go outside from the center of the building in a safe area for fresh air, relax and enjoy the trees and plants in bloom, watch the birds come and go. In the spring the staff assisted the residents to plant seeds to grow vegetable plants and flowers.

Her meals were well balanced and served on time. Snacks were supplied. Movie day popcorn was supplied. Her own private phone and television were allowed to be put in her room.

Laundry was taken care of promptly. Assisted as needed with showers and daily dressing. Clothes were changed as needed on a 24-hour basis.

Whatever we suggested to the staff to make her life just a little bit more comfortable or to make it a little bit easier Crystal Creek would assist.

When medical needs became a factor in our mother’s life Crystal Creek helped make the best choice by contacting Palliative Care and later Hospice.

A doctor and physician assistant would be called if needed by staff.

Prescription refills were handled as a service to the resident. Medicine was under lock and key, and charted and given to residents as required.”

“Eleanor M, 95 years of age, has been a resident of Crystal Creek Assisted Living Facility for almost two years. We are extremely happy with the facility.
